We are currently looking for a R&D Chemist to join an industrial manufacturing company based in the Lancashire area. As the R&D Chemist you will be responsible for scale up activities and research of raw materials and finished products, making sure all things are compliant to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the R&D Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Collaborate with the Technical Manager on product development, conducting lab experiments to enhance products and documenting all findings.

2. Analyse laboratory results for customer reviews, ensuring compliance with specifications throughout the production process.

3. Manage and test raw materials and finished products, coordinating testing schedules to meet production deadlines.

4. Maintain laboratory organization, monitor inventory, perform quality audits (ISO 9001 and ISO 13485), and ensure a safe work environment

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
