Manage the Head Teacher's diary, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events with precision.
Handle all correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls, on behalf of the Head Teacher.
Prepare meeting agendas, take accurate minutes, and ensure timely follow-up of actions.
Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
Communication and Liaison
Act as a key liaison between the Head Teacher, staff, students, parents, governors, and external stakeholders.
Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Ensure effective communication within the school and with external agencies.
Organisational Management
Coordinate and oversee the organisation of school events, including staff meetings, parent evenings, and governor meetings.
Manage administrative projects and ensure deadlines are met.
Anticipate the Head Teacher's needs and prepare accordingly.
General Duties
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment in the Head Teacher's office.
Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as directed by the Head Teacher.

Essential Criteria
Proven experience as a PA or in a similar administrative role.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with school management systems.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Desirable Criteria
Experience working in an educational setting.
Knowledge of school policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
