When it comes to safety, this established construction business ensures it is at the top of their agenda for both staff and customers and as the business continues to grow, they are now looking to add an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to their team who has construction related experience.

If you are NEBOSH qualified with experience of working from height and you have experience working within a CDM environment you would be joining a business that will invest in your career whilst giving you the best possible opportunity to develop.

A hybrid role with a blend of office, remote and travelling to customer sites, this role is either based either in the West Midlands OR The North West.

If you have an exceptional work ethic, can manage you time effectively and have first class IT skills you can expect a excellent salary plus car / car allowance, bonus and excellent benefits package

What’s the Job?

Working across various sites, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in site inspections
  • Ensuring accurate reporting and monitoring
  • Attending and leading meetings
  • Carrying out CDM inspections
  • Review and manage documentations
  • Handling external audits

What Skills do I need?

You will already be working within a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality role within a construction related environment; you will also need:

  • NEBOSH accredited
  • Approachable, organised and a good understanding of legislation
  • An effective communicator both verbal and written
  • A proven background within construction
  • Sub-contract and CDM understanding
  • Experience in working at height
  • Document management experience (ISO 45001; 9001 and 14001) desirable
  • Exceptional IT skills
