Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience of software development, methods, practices and version control systems.
  • Experience of MATLAB/Simulink toolset.
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and other software languages, Python, Java etc would be beneficial.
  • Degree level qualification in a STEM subject
What will you be doing?
  • Co-ordinate and managing the development of new Aerodynamics Engineering toolsets.
  • Liaising and working with Aerodynamic Discipline Teams and Projects to collate and harmonise requirements and future developments to provide a common engineering toolset.
  • Develop future initiatives to align with Digital Engineering framework and MBSE.
  • Supervise and guide team members in the toolset development.
  • Support and encourage Aerodynamic Engineers in toolset development. Develop and advise on best practice and existing developments.


As an MBSE Integration Specialist, you will be working within the Operations Design Development Test & Evaluation Aerodynamics team, where the primary responsibility involves coordinating and advancing engineering toolsets and models specific to aerodynamics. The focus is on developing MATLAB/Simulink-based toolsets within established governance frameworks and best practices.

This role is not only about toolset development but also about contributing to strategic advancement and innovation within the realm of aerodynamics engineering.
