Remuneration: Annual salary Up to 55,000

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client, a reputable organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join their team in Lancaster.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy, collaborating with the CEO and Operations team to meet organisational objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, eliminate complaints, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Perform gap analysis and troubleshoot to address current quality issues and non-conformances.
• Maintain compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
• Conduct quality tests at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure product quality.
• Work collaboratively with the quality and operations teams to develop and implement effective quality control processes.
• Monitor production to resolve quality issues, ensure product compliance, and optimise operational efficiency.
• Manage Quality Assurance and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels to create a collaborative and trusting environment, fostering a culture of quality and compliance.
• Utilise data analysis to drive insights and refine local quality strategies.
• Lead and develop the Quality team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to enhance performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Preferred 5 years of experience in a quality and compliance role, and 2 years in people management.
• Proven experience in implementing quality control processes, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret quality data and inform decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across manufacturing environments.
