Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client, a reputable organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join their team in Lancaster.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy, collaborating with the CEO and Operations team to meet organisational objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, eliminate complaints, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Perform gap analysis and troubleshoot to address current quality issues and non-conformances.
- Maintain compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
- Conduct quality tests at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure product quality.
- Work collaboratively with the quality and operations teams to develop and implement effective quality control processes.
- Monitor production to resolve quality issues, ensure product compliance, and optimise operational efficiency.
- Manage Quality Assurance and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to create a collaborative and trusting environment, fostering a culture of quality and compliance.
- Utilise data analysis to drive insights and refine local quality strategies.
- Lead and develop the Quality team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to enhance performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferred 5 years of experience in a quality and compliance role, and 2 years in people management.
- Proven experience in implementing quality control processes, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret quality data and inform decision-making.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across manufacturing environments.
