Job Title: Retail AssistantLocation: Lancaster Hours: 39 hours per weekWorking Days: 5 out of 6 days Tuesday - Sunday, on a rota basisShift Times: 08:30 - 16:30 / 09:00 - 17:00 37.5 hours
My client, a well respected company within the area, are searching for Customer focused retail assistant to assist their busy team. The role would be based within a vibrant trade shop in textiles and arts and crafts. The team are friendly, hardworking, and love to laugh. They pride themselves on creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:* Assisting customers with their purchases and providing product information * Maintaining a clean and organised shop floor* Restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are attractive and well-presented* Handling cash and card transactions accurately* Participating in stock checks and inventory management* Supporting the team in achieving sales targets
Requirements:* Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends* Interest in textiles and arts and crafts is a plus
