We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Lancaster. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the ICT curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering ICT lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels, with the potential to teach KS5.
  • Preparing lesson plans, materials, and resources that comply with curriculum standards.
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Managing the classroom environment to ensure a constructive learning experience.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to exchange best practices and contribute to professional development.
  • Serving as a positive role model for students, embodying qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, and effective communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Recent relevant experience teaching ICT at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and subject knowledge.
  • A reliable and committed individual who is interested in the welfare and development of students.
  • Good interpersonal skills, punctuality, and the ability to engage confidently with students.
