Teaching Assistant - Adhoc / Flexible Hours - Lancaster
Are you a Trainee/Student Teacher at University of Cumbria and interested in gaining additional experience in education? Our teaching team in Lancaster is looking for dedicated, enthusiastic students to join as part-time Teaching Assistants to gain more experience working in schools and develop new networks and relationships with the local education settings.
Role
- Support primary and secondary school students on days you are available
- Work closely with teachers to assist with classroom activities
- Help pupils with assignments and classroom material
- Contribute to a positive learning environment
- Gain more experience working in a school environment whilst training to be a teacher
- Build networks and relationships with the local schools
Requirements
- Current student teacher based in the Lancaster area
- Passionate about education and working with young people
- Reliable, responsible, and enthusiastic
