Join our dedicated team in Lancaster as an SEN Teaching Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting children with special educational needs. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on students' educational experiences and development.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Provide tailored support to children with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
- Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the setup of the learning environment.
- Monitor and support the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
- Facilitate social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and support.
- Must hold at least a TA Level 2 or 3 qualification.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for educational support.
- Full training provided to support your development and ensure you are equipped to make a difference.
