SEN Teacher - Lancaster:
Prospero teaching are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in SEN to join one of our schools in Lancaster. You will be teaching Year 6 students and will be responsible for providing a strong new curriculum to pupils of primary age with SEMH needs.
The Role:
- Developing and delivering engaging lessons
- Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of the individuals
- Working collaboratively with other staff and external agencies
Position Details:
- Position: SEN Teacher
- Location: Lancaster
- Hours: 0800 - 1600 (Mon-Fri)
- Type of Work: Temporary / Temp to Perm
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £162 - Paid to Scale
- Start date: 24/02/2025
- End date: July 2025
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Previous experience teaching students with additional needs, preferably in a specialist setting
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Committed to promoting the setting ethos of inclusion
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
