SEN Teacher - Lancaster:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified teacher to join one of our schools near to Lancaster. You will be responsible for providing excellent teaching to primary aged pupils with complex needs.

This is a full time position to start as soon as possible and will be a long-term role.

  • Position Details:

    • Location: Lancaster
    • Position: SEN Teacher
    • Hours: 8am-4:30pm
    • Type of Work: Temporary
    • Full time only
    • Minimum Rate of Pay: £145 per day, depending on experience
    • Start date: ASAP
    • End date: Ongoing

    The Role:

    • Delivering and developing engaging lessons
    • Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils
    • Working collaboratively with other staff and external agencies

    Experience, Training & Qualifications:

    • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
    • Previous experience supporting SEN within a specialist setting
    • Team Teach training would be highly desired
    • Qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential

    TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

    • Hold Right to Work in the UK
    • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
    • Provide two professional references
