About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will have over 5 years of accounting experience and hold relevant qualifications such as MAAT, ACCA, or be qualified by experience (QBE).
You will be responsible for delivering a range of accounting services and tax advice to a portfolio of SME businesses and their associated individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Oversee and review bookkeeping records.
- Company Accounts: Prepare and review company accounts, primarily for Ltd companies (FRS 102 & FRS 105).
- Tax Returns: Handle the preparation of company tax returns.
- VAT Returns: Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns.
- Personal Tax Returns: Prepare personal tax returns for Directors of Ltd companies.
- Management Accounts: Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for Ltd companies.
Desirable Software Experience:
- TaxCalc (accounts and taxation)
- Xero
- QuickBooks
- FreeAgent
- Brightmanager
Experience with cloud-based software is essential, and familiarity with at least one of the above-mentioned software is highly desirable.
