Role: Behaviour Buddy (Primary & Secondary)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Location: Lancing, West Sussex
Salary: Competitive (lunch included!)
Are you ready to make a real difference and bring a smile to the school day? We're looking for a Behaviour Buddy who is open-minded, energetic, and has a great sense of humour. Our Lancing Pupil Referral Unit caters to both primary and secondary students, and we need Behaviour Buddies to support them on their journey.
What Does a Behaviour Buddy Do?
- As a Behaviour Buddy, you'll work with students to help them overcome barriers to learning, whether it's in the classroom or during break times.
- You'll be a friendly face, a listening ear, and a problem-solver all rolled into one. Our Behaviour Buddies know how to keep things light and don't take life too seriously.
- You'll join the children for lunch, because we believe in building relationships - and every Behaviour Buddy should be part of the community.
What We're Looking For:
- GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above).
- A positive, open-minded approach - our best Behaviour Buddies are adaptable and creative.
- A sense of humour - being a Behaviour Buddy means finding the fun in every day.
- The ability to connect with students and make a difference through kindness and patience.
What's in It for You?
- A welcoming, supportive environment where every Behaviour Buddy is valued.
- Lunch provided daily, with the expectation that our Behaviour Buddies join the children during meals.
- Professional development opportunities and the chance to grow your skills as a Behaviour Buddy.
- The satisfaction of helping young people overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
If becoming a Behaviour Buddy sounds like the perfect fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!
