Paging women's first team doctor…

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated doctor to provide exceptional medical care for our women's first team squad. You will play a crucial role in the health and performance of our athletes, by assessing, diagnosing and treating medical issues that arise with the players, utilising current evidence-based practice. You will also be required to undertake player signing medicals, including multi-system screening and cardiac assessment. You will provide pitch side cover for matches and training sessions.

Your medical background

We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working with female athletes and has extensive knowledge of football-related injuries - especially in females. You will be required to work on your own initiative to solve problems and ensure the player receive the best possible care. You will be an excellent communicator, with experience liaising with key management, coaching and playing staff on a day-to-day basis.

You will need to hold the following qualifications:

- Full registration/licence to practice with the GMC

- A Diploma/MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine

- Level 5 ATMMiF or equivalent emergency trauma qualification (or be willing to undertake this qualification)
