This part-time, short-term position starting ASAP. While those with SEN experience are desired, it's not essential. The daily pay for this rewarding role ranges from £80 to £90, depending on experience.

Role Details:

  • Position: Special Needs Support Assistant
  • Location: Lancing
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Type: Full-time - Short- time (roughly 6 weeks, could go longer)

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), mental health support, or support work.
  • Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants are desired but not essential.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.
  • Assisting in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and SENCo to implement individualised education plans.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress and providing timely feedback and support.
  • Offering emotional and behavioural support to students with a focus on their well-being.
