Are you a hands-on Mechanical Verification Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? Based just North of Cambridge, you will play a crucial role in the Mechanical Verification Team, supporting the entire lifecycle of product development.

Key Responsibilities:
* Test electro-mechanical development products according to specifications and generate accurate test reports.
* Assemble PLC-controlled pneumatic test fixtures to support product testing.
* Catalogue development test samples and maintain departmental equipment.
* Manage departmental consumables.
* Use workshop equipment and tools to make minor modifications to development products.
* Assemble product components as per design documentation for mechanical verification testing.
* Drive to test houses for external testing and prepare test fixtures as required.

Essential Requirements:
* Relevant Apprenticeship or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
* Understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic drawings and principles.
* Experience with measuring instruments.
* Basic knowledge of pneumatics and pneumatic control.
* Previous experience in electro-mechanical testing.
* Proficiency in mechanical workshop skills (e.g. drilling, tapping, dremel, hand tools).
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
* Basic PLC programming experience.
* Full Driving licence is required

Desirable Requirements:
* Ability to wire according to electrical schematics and perform soldering.
* Mitsubishi Alpha PLC programming experience.
* Experience designing and specifying development test equipment, jigs and fixtures.
* Statistical analysis of test data.
