Location: Homebased with occasional days in the office based in Chippenham (SN15)
Hourly Pay Rate: 11.76 to 14.32 based on experience
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)
Length of the contract: Initially 1 Month (to be reviewed month by month rolling)

Gi Group are now seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator to our Public Sector client based in Chippenham. The Administrator will provide high quality business management to the Locality Team in delivery of its responsibilities and portfolio of work. The Administrator will provide exceptional business support to the Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, and other members of the Senior Team, including coordination and management of diaries.

Duties of the Administrator

  • Providing administrative support including the coordination and management of diaries.
  • Assisting with project management including coordinating updates to risk registers, contributing to effective information management within the team, and supporting project leads with administrative duties, data, and information.
  • Assisting with information management including developing and maintaining databases to log and respond to information reports produced internally and externally that relate to the business of the directorate.
  • Planning and organisation including managing the locality and alliance work plan, ensuring a focus on upcoming deadlines for the work of the directorate, and coordinating papers required for governance requirements.


Role Criteria

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject area or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management, or information analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex information and administrative matters, requiring developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to responded to sudden, unexpected demands.
  • Skills for supporting project management and projects, ensuring they meet financial targets.
  • Advanced keyboard skills with the ability to use a range of software.
