  • The position offers a salary of £35,000 per year and requires prior experience in quality inspection and familiarity with calibrated measuring equipment.
  • Benefits include a company pension, free on-site parking, and sick pay, with working hours from Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm.

Our client is a highly regarded precision engineering company looking to expand its team and specialises in supplying best-in-class precision engineering.

They are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team!

Responsibilities

  • Inspect components for compliance with FAA regulations
  • You will be Verifying precision tolerance machined components, having familiarity to AS9100 standard.
  • Perform routine quality checks on components throughout the production process to verify compliance with quality requirements.
  • As a Quality Inspector you will be writing and detailing FAIR reports, to include AS9102

Hours

Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 4pm

Fri – 7.30am – 12.30pm

Overtime available

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role is required, preferably within an aerospace component manufacturing environment. Must be skilled in verifying precision-machined components with tight tolerances and have knowledge of the AS9100 standard.
  • Experience with using calibrated general-purpose measuring equipment.
  • Experience in CMM inspection techniques, both manual and digital
  • Experience with Verniers & micrometers
