Sales Estimator

Salary: £28-30000K, plus benefits

Our client, a leading supplier of architectural gratings, louvred panels, flooring, and fencing to UK and worldwide markets, is seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to join their team in Edinburgh.

As a Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in securing contracts by providing technical information, advising on design development, and estimating from tender documents and drawings. You will be the key point of contact for contractors and architects, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships.

• Handle enquiries from contractors and architects, providing technical information and advice

• Estimate from tender documents and drawings to secure contracts

• Negotiate and liaise with customers, suppliers, and contractors to win orders

• Quote prices and lead times in response to enquiries

• Provide product and technical information to customers

• Record and track live enquiries using a CRM database

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

• Degree or equivalent experience in architecture, engineering, or construction

• Ability to manage and balance a busy workload effectively

• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner

• Proficiency in reading and understanding architectural drawings and technical specifications

• Strong Windows skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic CAD skills

• Experience with CRM databases

• Clean driving licence
