Position: Learning & Development Business Partner

Hours: Part-time, 4 days per week (32 hours) 
 

About the Role:

Our client  is looking for an experienced Learning & Development  Business Partner to join the HR team. Collaborating with the Senior HR Business Partner and site leadership, you’ll drive change, foster skill development, and boost employee engagement. Your goal will be to unlock and expand the talents of our team through continuous evaluation and enhancement of training programs, ensuring they align with the evolving needs of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Strategy: Support the HR team in establishing the learning and development strategy for the site, with defined KPIs that align with site goals.
  • Program Design and Delivery: Scope, design, and deliver effective development programs across departments, focusing on core skills and competencies in line with the site’s L&D strategy.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor the training team, ensuring resources are effectively allocated and add value across the site.
  • Technical Training: Oversee and/or deliver all site-specific technical training, including health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
  • Record Keeping and Accreditation: Maintain accurate training records on-site and support the audit and accreditation processes.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Conduct training needs assessments based on mandatory requirements, individual development goals, and business strategy.
  • Apprenticeship Management: Manage apprentice programs from recruitment to progress monitoring and compliance.
  • 32 hours over 4 days or Full time available 

What You Bring:

  • Experience: At least 2 years in an L&D role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge: Current with L&D trends and best practices.
  • Skills: Strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Qualifications: Certified in “train the trainer” methodologies.
