We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our clients award-winning podiatry centre. You will play a vital role in supporting the team of podiatrists and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for their patients. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients on arrival, manage reception duties, and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule appointments (considering patient needs and podiatrist availability).
  • Send appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • Maintain accurate patient records (adhering to GDPR regulations).
  • Process patient payments (if applicable).
  • Maintain a clean and professional reception area.
  • Assist podiatrists with paperwork and administrative tasks.
  • Completing general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Ensuring all experience outstanding levels of customer service and feel valued.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong experience in office administration.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Discreet and professional manner.
  • Basic understanding of podiatry terminology (desirable).
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment (desirable).
