Responsibilities:
- Greet patients on arrival, manage reception duties, and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule appointments (considering patient needs and podiatrist availability).
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders.
- Maintain accurate patient records (adhering to GDPR regulations).
- Process patient payments (if applicable).
- Maintain a clean and professional reception area.
- Assist podiatrists with paperwork and administrative tasks.
- Completing general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Ensuring all experience outstanding levels of customer service and feel valued.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong experience in office administration.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Discreet and professional manner.
- Basic understanding of podiatry terminology (desirable).
- Experience working in a healthcare environment (desirable).
