Job description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Healthcare Office / Team Leader to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring clients receive exceptional care while fostering a positive and supportive environment for staff. Based in Launceston with travel required across our sites and East Devon.

Package:

  • £13.15ph weekdays and £13.38ph weekends
  • Full time permanent contract
  • Primarily office based but also client facing with some care duties and On Call duties on a rota basis. Will include some weekend work

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing a designated caseload of clients, conducting assessments, and overseeing care delivery.
  • Provide leadership and support to a team of care staff, offering regular supervision, training, and mentorship.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and staff, fostering a collaborative and person-centred approach.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in recruitment activities and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or actively pursuing) with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a calm and positive demeanour.
  • Strong understanding of best practice in care delivery and relevant legislation.
  • A reliable, professional, and self-motivated individual.
  • Must have Full UK Driving License and own transport

This is a highly client-facing role, with up to 80% of your time spent in the East Devon community.
