We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will coordinate the day-to-day management of customer orders and enquiries, prepare commercial tenders, and provide exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Day to day of the role:
  • Coordinate the management of customer orders and enquiries using company software.
  • Prepare commercial tenders and quotations within customer deadlines or agreed timescales.
  • Handle inbound calls, building effective customer relationships and maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Monitor and action email activity on the shared sales inbox, ensuring proper distribution to respective departments/individuals.
  • Understand and address customer business requirements and queries upon receipt of sales opportunities.
  • Manage customer complaints efficiently to ensure quick resolution and remedial action.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure on-time deliveries of customer orders.
  • Proactively update customers on order progress via phone and email.
  • Provide sales support to management, including data gathering and prospecting opportunities.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritising key customers, tasks, and enquiries.
  • Liaise with international teams for updates on shipping, product releases, and order progress.
  • Participate in Sales and Product training to enhance customer service and product knowledge.
  • Follow up on outstanding quotations to obtain feedback and increase conversion rates.
  • Work with management to meet KPIs and sales targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full product and software training will be provided.
  • Manufacturing/Engineering industry knowledge or background is welcomed but not essential.
