Temporary Accommodation Assistant

Spirehouse are currently recruiting for a Temporary Accommodation Assistant on behalf of a Local Authority in Warwickshire.

The Opportunity

• Undertake tenancy sign ups of all temporary accommodation stock
• Ensure records are completed and uploaded to the rent accounting system
• Notify all other relevant Council Sections including Housing Benefits and Council Tax Departments of placements into, moves within, and the termination of the temporary accommodation
• Liaise with the Revenues & Benefits section to resolve any issues in relation to outstanding Housing Benefit claims
• Set up rent accounts, monitor payments and terminate accounts and placements promptly in relation to temporary accommodation

• Temporary or Permanent
• 15 - 16 per hour
• Full time on site

Requirements

• Access to a vehicle and willing to travel to properties across Warwickshire
• Enhanced DBS
