Health & Safety Manager

Location: Leamington Spa
Contract: Full Time, Onsite, Permanent

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking global engineering consultancy specializing in the development of sustainable electrified propulsion systems and related technologies. You'll work collaboratively with industry-leading automotive, commercial vehicle, aerospace, and defense OEMs, as well as Tier-1 suppliers and research bodies.

Role Overview:
The Health & Safety Manager will report to the Head of HR and oversee the design, development, and implementation of management systems across two key sites. This stand-alone role requires a hands-on approach, regularly engaging with teams to foster a positive health and safety culture. You will also manage a team of three Facilities personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sustainability policies.
  • Design and implement internal policies and conduct audits, reporting findings to the Operations Board.
  • Investigate accidents or near misses and develop risk assessments.
  • Deliver training and Toolbox Talks on safety procedures.
  • Manage the facilities team and liaise with external consultants on sustainability initiatives.


What You'll Need:

  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE and sustainability legislation.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 & 9001 standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Relevant industry experience is desirable.
