Our client is seeking a proactive, hardworking, and helpful HR Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will provide vital administrative support across various HR functions, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
  • Provide full administrative support, ensuring all tasks meet deadlines, confidentiality, and high standards.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports related to personnel activities (recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
  • Maintain and update colleague records (both electronic and hard copies).
  • Support recruitment efforts, including coordinating interviews, posting jobs, managing documentation, and maintaining the recruitment system.
  • Respond to colleague queries and provide relevant information.
  • Manage internal reporting and company lists, meeting required deadlines.
  • Conduct monthly internal compliance audits.
  • Handle calls and manage internal and external queries.
  • Provide administrative support for the HR system.
  • Manage and respond to queries via the HR inbox.
  • Collate data for company accreditations, government statistics, and audits.
  • Take notes in HR meetings (investigations, disciplinaries, grievances) across various UK sites.
  • Manage the internal training platform and handle monthly reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent is desirable.
  • Previous experience within Administration.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, mail merge).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to strict deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and a quality-focused mindset.
