Are you an experienced ICT professional looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ICT Support Officer within our client's Business Support Department.

About the Role:

Based primarily at the Leamington office, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive ICT support to all colleagues across five offices in Coventry and Warwickshire. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first and second line of ICT support to all staff.
  • Providing timely assistance to ensure staff have the tools and services they need to work effectively.
  • Resolving IT issues efficiently or escalating to third-party providers when necessary.
  • Delivering training to staff to enhance their ICT skills, including induction training for new starters.
  • Assisting with the management of company servers, desktops, laptops, telephony services, and network infrastructure.
  • Developing skills and knowledge to improve support delivery and system administration.
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues such as desktops, laptops, peripherals, and printers.
  • Administering and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Communicating effectively with on-site and remote staff.
  • Liaising with third-party support teams and consultants.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an ICT support role, preferably in a legal or professional services setting (not essential).
  • Relevant ICT qualification.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server, RDS, TCP/IP, DNS, and virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Office 365 administration and PowerShell experience.
  • Experience with structured cabling and hardware setup is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to develop new skills.
  • Personal qualities of loyalty and discretion.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a car for travel between offices (sometimes at short notice).
