Junior Supply Chain Manager

My client, a British manufacturer of iconic vehicles, requires a Junior Supply Chain Manager as it continues to scale up an iconic British heritage brand with a focus on electric vehicle technology.

As the Junior Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee stock control, procurement, and supplier relationships in addition to developing strategies to optimise inventory, securing reliable parts sources, and maintaining an efficient global supply chain. Your expertise will be key in negotiating favourable supplier terms and driving efficiency and cost savings.

Responsibilities:

* Optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory
* Source and procure automotive parts, negotiating terms with suppliers
* Manage supplier performance and conduct stock audits
* Monitor inventory turnover and adjust supply based on demand forecasts

Requirements:

- Proven experience in automotive supply chain
- Strong background in inventory management, procurement, and supplier relationship management, specifically within the automotive sector
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
