Warehouse Team LeaderLocation: Leamington SpaJob Type: Full-Time,Shift-BasedWorking Hours: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 4 Days On / 4 Days OffJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse team. The Warehouse Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are picked accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining a smooth shift operation. The role requires strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate the warehouse team, manage workloads, and ensure that daily targets are met. The Warehouse Team Leader will work closely with higher management to ensure the efficient functioning of the warehouse while upholding health and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee the accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders, ensuring timely fulfillment of all customer orders.
  • Monitor and manage team performance to meet daily and weekly productivity goals.
  • Coordinate shift schedules and ensure optimal team coverage to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Report to higher management regarding daily operations, challenges, and progress towards goals.
  • Provide training and support to new team members, ensuring they are up to speed with operational procedures.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the shift, resolving problems promptly to minimize delays.
  • Track and monitor inventory levels, ensuring stock is managed appropriately and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all warehouse procedures, policies, and standards, including quality control and health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic inventory management.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, as required.
  • Adhere to and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all team members are trained and compliant with health and safety procedures.
  • Identify and report any potential health and safety risks or issues in the workplace.
