The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, and participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and creative lessons to Year 1 students, ensuring a positive learning environment.
Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the curriculum.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child's development.
Provide tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they thrive in the classroom setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1.
Understanding and experience working with SEN children is highly desirable.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners.
