Our client is a well-established, leading independent Lettings and Estate Agency brand who have been operating in the area for many years. Due to continued success in their Lettings department, an opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Manager to join their vibrant and very busy Leamington Spa branch. This position offers fantastic earning potential with a very strong and well-known brand in the area.

Lettings Manager

Location: Leamington Spa

  • £30,000 to £35,000 basic salary, dependent on experience

A day in the life of a Lettings Manager

  • Strong focus on generating new and repeat business

  • Maximise the overall income and profitability to the lettings department

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants

  • Manage and undertake a full life cycle process from appraisal to move-in and thereafter

  • Liaising with Tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs

  • Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies

  • Ensuring the business is risk-averse and following the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies

  • Drive the lettings team whilst leading from the front and meeting all targets

  • Leading daily meetings

  • Coaching, training and developing the team to achieve KPI’s

  • Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance (Including but not limited to conducting one-to-one meetings)

  • Actively encourage your teams development and progression

Essential Skills of a Lettings Manager

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within residential lettings at a Senior Lettings Negotiator position or higher

  • Team player who works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with and create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities and each other

  • The ability to create and action business plans relevant to your branch

  • The ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors

  • A strong understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings

  • Ability to manage time sensitive and high volume workloads

  • A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service

  • Ability to work under own your initiative

  • Good telephone manner

  • Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)

  • First-rate attention to detail

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 17:30

1 in 4 Saturday's: 09:00 to 14:00
