Your new companyYour new job will be working as a Year 4 teaching assistant at a Primary School in Leamington. The hours are ideally 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday). This role is to start after the Easter break. Your job role will be to focus on a small group of pupils within the year 4 class who have additional needs.

Your new roleIn this job you will be-

  • Supporting a group of year 4 students with additional needs with their learning and development and assisting with intervention work.
  • Contribute to maintaining an outstanding learning environment.
  • You will be expected to provide targeted support to Year 4 students, tailor interventions to their specific needs, and assist struggling students with comprehension, numeracy, and literacy skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and develop engaging activities and resources to reinforce learning objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant experience working in a similar role or supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Familiarity with primary education and an understanding of the curriculum.
  • A genuine interest in supporting students' learning and development.
  • Flexibility to adjust to the needs of individual students.
