Highways Supervisor - Line Marking
Location: Surrey, UK
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor with a strong background in line marking to oversee works across Surrey as part of a long-term maintenance contract. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role in delivering high-quality road marking services while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervise and coordinate line marking teams, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines.
·Oversee the installation of road markings, including carriageway markings, cycle lanes, and other traffic management markings.
·Ensure compliance with Chapter 5 of the Traffic Signs Manual and other relevant highways regulations.
·Carry out site inspections to monitor quality, productivity, and health & safety compliance.
·Organise materials, plant, and labour to meet project requirements.
·Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
·Complete reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
Requirements:
·Previous experience in line marking supervision within highways or road maintenance.
·Knowledge of line marking materials, application techniques, and industry standards.
·Valid CSCS card and SSSTS/SMSTS qualification.
·Understanding of health & safety regulations, including working at height and traffic management.
·Full UK driving licence.
·Ability to manage multiple teams and projects effectively.
