Description

As the NEW Head of Sales, you will need to be effective in managing and leading an established sales team, identifying and unlocking new business opportunities. Sharpen the sales tools and resources to maximise the abilities across the team.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive top line growth across the UK and export markets
  • Drive and develop new customer acquisition strategies across the UK retail landscape.
  • Secure a cohesive focus across the commercial functions including marketing/category/supply/ product development/finance.
  • Own and nurture key commercial relationships to deliver short and long-term sales goals.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with key senior customer contacts and maintain a strong understanding of the wider market and trends to be able to proactively provide insight and solutions.
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare monthly reports for senior leadership team.

Profile

  • Proven experience as Head of Sales or similar role within UK food/drink FMCG, with excellent leadership skills and proven track record for driving growth
  • Strong leadership, team management and customer relationship skills
  • Strategic, analytical and commercially minded with a focus on delivering results.
  • Drive, determination and commitment to get things done.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Positive proactive attitude and likes to "roll up their sleeves" and work as an integral part of a team
  • Results driven and confident to achieve Company targets

** You must be able to access Surrey 3 days per week **
