My client is currently seeking several Multi Traders who has the experience and knowledge to complete full conversions of bathrooms to wet rooms to join there building division who pride them selves across the industry installing and repairing adaptations that are needed within the property sectors for their customers.
This role is primarily required for a Multi Traded who is dedicated to providing all customers that need adaptations due to disabilities in the social housing sector so you will be required to undertake reactive and planned maintenance to make sure their customers health and safety are maintained to the best standard.
The various duties of this role will include
- Boxing out walls, Stud work, repairing showers, Installing new shower doors
- Drain down central heating system as required for radiator removal where applicable
- To Prepare walls for Tiling or decorations
- Lay lineal floor and prepare surfaces, lay new screed, and install gulley
- Fit a shower tray or former in concrete or timber floor including ability to noggin between joists to suit tray size and achieve positive falls,
- Identify and connect waste via Gravity or pumps
- Installation of special adaptations which include Grab Rails, Carer Doors and shower seats
- Tiling including Walls and Floor
- Reroute existing or supply new hot and cold supplies , running mains supply for showers, adapting /renewing waste pipes and soil stacks
- Ability to isolate existing supplies, strip out existing bathroom including tiles, floor and sanitary wear
Qualifications and experience needed
- City & Guilds
- Hot works Training
- Minimum of 2 years installing working in wet rooms installations,
- Have previous experience working in the social housing sector.
- Willing to undertake further training and development for career progression
