Role Overview:

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, providing expert guidance, and ensuring seamless insurance services. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, exceptional client management skills, and a proactive approach to handling complex accounts. You will be directly supporting the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their unique risk exposures, and providing expert advice on insurance solutions.
  • Policy Management:Oversee the entire lifecycle of insurance policies, from initial placement to renewals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of documents.
  • Risk Assessment and Analysis:Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients, identifying exposures, and recommending appropriate coverage options.
  • Negotiations and Renewals:Negotiate policy terms and premiums with insurers, manage renewal processes, and ensure favourable outcomes for clients.
  • Claims Handling Support:Collaborate with claims teams to support clients in the claims process, ensuring prompt resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Market Knowledge:Stay updated with market trends, changes in regulations, and emerging risks, providing insights to clients and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive / Director withinthe insurance industry, demonstrating expertise in managing commercialand corporateaccounts.
  • In-depth knowledge of various commercial insurance products, risk management principles, and underwriting processes.
  • Proven track record in hitting sales targets and bringing in new business
  • Experience working with large accounts and premiums is also Desirable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Must be an active user of Acturissoftware and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., CII) would be advantageous.
