Key Responsibilities:

As an Audit Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring our junior staff while ensuring the highest standards of audit quality and accuracy. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with managers and directors on audit risk assessments and strategic planning.
  • Ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of audit assignments.
  • Providing on-site and remote support to junior staff, fostering their development.
  • Liaising with clients throughout the audit process, from planning to fieldwork and completion.
  • Actively participating in the training and development of ACA students and contributing to the staff review process.
What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • ACA or ACCA qualifications with a minimum of 2 years of audit experience within a UK-based practice.
  • Strong technical skills with extensive experience in statutory audit and accounts preparation.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of FRS 102 & ISAs; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a team-oriented mindset.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to delegate tasks and supervise junior staff effectively.
  • The capacity to maintain high standards while working under pressure.
  • Proficiency in IT and a willingness to embrace technological advancements.
