The Role

As Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational execution of the business. From building a compelling brand to scaling operations, this is a hands-on leadership role that requires a visionary leader who can operate across multiple functions. You will oversee everything from business development and site acquisition to team growth and brand establishment, positioning the company as a market leader in the EV charging space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Define and execute the company's growth strategy in alignment with its mission and goals.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
  • Brand Development:

    • Build a compelling and recognizable brand that resonates with both B2B and B2C customers.
    • Oversee marketing and communications efforts to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Site Acquisition & Expansion:

    • Identify and secure prime locations for EV charging infrastructure, negotiating commercial terms and managing partnerships.
    • Oversee planning, permitting, and development processes for new site rollouts.
  • Operational Growth:

    • Build and scale the organization's operational capabilities, from supply chain to customer service.
    • Lead the recruitment and development of a high-performing team, ensuring the company culture aligns with its core values.
  • Financial Oversight:

    • Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L ownership.
    • Secure funding as required to fuel growth and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Market Positioning:

    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Champion innovation, ensuring the business remains ahead of industry developments in technology and sustainability.
About You
