Are you a Senior HR Manager with experience in not-for-profit/charity sector, looking to take on a new challenge in your career? My client is a globally recognised charity, and they are looking for a Head of HR Operations to lead all central services and support across the organisation. They have multiple sites across London, however this role requires for you to travel between South London locations on a hybrid working model. Local candidates are preferred but not mandatory.

What You'll Be Doing:

Reporting to the CEO, you will be a highly organized and detail-oriented Central Services Manager to oversee human resources, facilities, IT, and key operational functions. This role is integral to maintaining the company's HR, property management and development, IT systems, and compliance. You will be leading a team of 5-6.

Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Work with CEO and Head of Finance to prepare annual budget for central services
  • Ensure overall HR Strategy, Strong know of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance frameworks
  • Responsible for IT software, managing support contracts and develop new IT systems to improve efficiency
  • Lead compliance, maintain and developing policy frameworks
  • Responsible for line management and development of senior staff

The successful HR Coordinator will have:

  • Worked within Charity/Non-profit sector
  • Access to vehicle or transportation to office
  • Enjoyed working in a small business
  • Experience introducing and supporting new IT systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of GDPR legislation
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Proactive and self-motivated, confident team worker
  • Knowledge of legal compliance
