Data Services Team Lead (Hybrid - Surrey)

Our Financial Services client is seeking an experienced Data Services Team Lead to oversee the delivery of high-quality data solutions and lead a team of skilled Data Engineers. This hybrid role, based in Surrey, is a key position within the Data Services & BI function, responsible for managing data warehousing, reporting, and strategic data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Data Engineers, overseeing workload prioritisation and project delivery
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions using SQL, Oracle, ETL (Informatica), and Power BI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and corporate standards
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and innovation within data services
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Informatica (or similar ETL tools), and Power BI
