A focus on excellence ensures the recruitment and retention of top legal talent.The Role:An experienced Senior Finance Family Associate is required to manage a diverse caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedies, and private law children cases. Additionally, the role involves providing private mediation services, facilitating amicable resolutions in family disputes.Key Responsibilities:Case Management:

  • Handling a variety of family law cases with a primary focus on financial remedies, divorce, and civil partnership dissolution.
  • Providing mediation services to clients to resolve disputes outside of court.
  • Maintaining accurate case files and documentation.

Client Care:

  • Delivering expert legal advice and representation.
  • Ensuring exceptional client care, confidentiality, and regular case updates.
  • Managing client expectations effectively.

Mediation:

  • Conducting mediation sessions for clients focusing on financial, divorce, and child arrangement matters.
  • Preparing mediation agreements in compliance with legal standards.

Business Development:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in family law.
  • Proven experience managing private family law cases.
  • Qualified all-issues family mediator (FMC Accreditation desirable).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software.
  • Experience working under LEXCEL or equivalent practice management standards (desirable).
