Description

  • Serve as the primary contact for all satellite Electrical, Mechanical, and services procurement related to projects.
  • Report key procurement issues and actions at monthly project reviews, ensuring all facts are documented and presented.
  • Monitor team performance with KPIs, tracking key metrics to reduce costs and improve effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement a company wide purchasing strategy, including supplier selection and evaluation, in collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain.
  • Lead the Procurement team, establish strong internal relationships, ensure procurement governance, and support audits and the roll-out of a new ERP system.

Profile

  • Over 5 years of line management experience with strong people management skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Credible and experienced at senior levels, with the ability to interact across all business levels.
  • Results-driven, able to deliver under pressure, and skilled at influencing, persuading, and communicating effectively.
  • Strong understanding of contractual and programmatic risks, with a pragmatic approach to mitigation and financial forecasting.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and managing tough commercial challenges.
