Remote Clinical Coder

Location: Remote
Duration: 3-6 Months (Full-Time)
Start Date: Flexible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately code medical records and diagnoses using ICD-10, OPCS, and other relevant coding systems
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards and national guidelines
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve coding discrepancies
  • Support the production of accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical data for reports
  • Assist in audits and data analysis for quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Must be ACC qualified
  • Able to code a range of district general hospital specialties (no obstetric or neonatal)
  • Strong knowledge of NHS clinical coding systems (ICD-10, OPCS, SNOMED, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Eligible to work in the UK
