What You'll Be Doing

Join our client's team as a Band 6 Pharmacist and support the hospital dispensary service. In this role, you will:

  • Screen and clinically check prescriptions for inpatient wards

  • Support the inpatient dispensary with daily operations

  • Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications

  • Work collaboratively with other pharmacy staff and hospital teams

  • Help maintain service efficiency and patient safety

? Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid GPhC registration

  • Previous NHS hospital experience, ideally in a dispensary setting

  • Accuracy Checking qualification is desirable

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

? Working Hours & Contract Duration
  • Full-time locum position: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

  • Contract length: 4 months

  • Strong possibility of extension depending on service needs
