The Technical Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of technical services to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining strong relationships with our service providers & customers alike. This role involves managing a team of mobile service technicians, developing service strategies & aftermarket solutions to enhance the service delivery and product performance of Endurance.


Key responsibilities

  • Hire and directly manage a team of mobile/field engineers
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and external service technicians.
  • Coordinate and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of endurance Service Bill of Materials.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Fleet Operations to develop and implement aftermarket service strategies to drive customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and lead initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyse service performance metrics to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Oversee inventory management of spare parts and service tools.
  • Prepare regular reports on service activities, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Attend jobs on the field where necessary to support and audit service providers

Qualifications & experience

  • Previously lead and mentored a team of engineers/technicians, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve team goals and individual professional growth.
  • Qualification in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience with product maintenance/ Proven experience in serviceability and maintenance for refrigerated trailers, HVAC or similar systems.
  • An understanding of system-level engineering and the interaction between digital, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • The ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
