The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for direct sales and account management activity for all customers within their designated sales territory. You will work to clearly defined objectives and agreed business plans that will ensure both the retention and growth of customers within the territory and will be responsible for the identification and acquisition of new customers as well as growing the existing client portfolio.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable success in sales achievement within the Medical Devices sector, ideally in a surgical sales setting.
- Degree qualified.
- Commercially aware with sound judgement and business acumen.
- Confident, goal orientated and self-starting.
- Excellent communication skills: listens, influences, inspires and motivates others to act.
- Strong IT and presentation skills
- Develops and maintains relationships by making a strong personal impression.
- Excellent analytical skills and a creative problem solver.
- Demonstrates a passion to continually learn about the company's products and services together with developments in the wider orthopaedics sector.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
