Location: Family Estate, SurreySalary: £34,000 - £35,500 gross per annum (depending on experience)Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off (Daytime shift: 7am - 7pm / Night shift: 7pm - 7am)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Access Controller to join the security team of an UHNW family estate. This role is integral in ensuring the family enjoys the highest level of security and privacy within their home.Key Responsibilities:

  • Access Control & Monitoring:
    • Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, intruder detection, fire alarms, and perimeter security.
    • Manage the entry and exit of staff, visitors, and contractors to ensure a secure environment.
  • Premises Patrol:
    • Conduct regular patrols of the estate, inspecting the property for signs of intrusion, and securing doors, windows, and gates.
  • Incident Response & Management:
    • Respond to system alarms and security incidents.
    • Coordinate with the Security Manager, Facilities Manager, and emergency services as necessary.
  • Security Systems Maintenance:
    • Oversee the functionality of security equipment, ensuring timely service and repair when required.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Work closely with the Security Manager, property service teams, and other security personnel to meet the estate’s security requirements.
    • Provide access control for contractors, maintain logs, and support event security as required.
  • Property Maintenance Support:
    • Report any property defects or issues to the appropriate manager.
  • First Aid & Administrative Support:
    • Deliver emergency first aid when needed and assist with occasional administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • SIA License (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working within UHNW households (advantageous)
  • First Aid training
