We are looking for a Locum Social Worker to join the Adults Services team in Woking. If you’re passionate about making a difference, this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals’ social care needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored care plans that promote independence and well-being.
  • Offer advice, guidance, and practical support to individuals and their families/carers.
  • Work with healthcare professionals, community agencies, and others to deliver integrated care.
  • Safeguard vulnerable adults by identifying and responding to signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
  • Advocate for clients' rights within the social care system.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification recognised by Social Work England.
  • Registered with SWE as a qualified Social Worker.
  • Strong knowledge of UK adult social care legislation and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to promoting social justice.
  • Proficient in IT systems used for case management and record-keeping.
