Team Leader - Adolescent Safeguarding in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, UK, earning £44 Hourly. Full Time locum position with an ongoing contract. What you will do:
- Provide operational management and leadership across service geographical areas, supporting the Head of Service.
- Manage a team of up to five Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, and Social Work Assistants, as well as multidisciplinary workers when required.
- Ensure high-quality interventions, effective case management, and robust decision-making processes.
- Oversee the management of adolescent cases from referral to care proceedings and through to outcomes.
- Collaborate with the SHIFT Practice Manager to monitor referrals and chair strategic meetings.
- Cover AST and SHIFT managers in times of absence and ensure duty rosters are managed effectively.
- Employ AfC's practice models like Signs of Safety to meet quality standards and achieve positive outcomes for adolescents and families.
- Represent Achieving for Children (AfC) at strategic multi-agency meetings and establish key partnerships.
